International carrier in search of an experienced leader to join the western division as an AVP Underwriting Manager. This role will be housed in Chicago with a hybrid schedule. This individual will lead and manage a talented growing team of varied experience levels as well as engage in marketing and new business development efforts with established and new broker relationships.

The AVP will oversee the portfolio of Cyber, Technology, Miscellaneous Professional Liability and underwriting team. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing a western regional plan  encompassing marketing, broker management, new business growth, personal, and budget expectations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Professional Liability and Cyber products as well as people management skills. Strong broker relationships in the western region are also preferred.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional liability underwriting experience required
• Underwriting Management experience required
• BA/BS required
