A leading specialty carrier is seeking an Underwriting Specialist to drive underwriting production and growth across the Northeast workers’ compensation segment.

This is a high-impact role focused on underwriting large, complex accounts while building strong broker relationships and expanding a highly profitable regional book of business.

What You’ll Do

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of large, complex workers’ compensation accounts

• Develop and strengthen key producer relationships across the Northeast

• Drive new business development and profitable growth

• Maintain disciplined underwriting practices and portfolio performance

• Partner with leadership in a lean, experienced underwriting team

Ideal Background

• 6+ years of Workers’ Comp or Primary Casualty lines underwriting experience required

• Experience with SIR business is required

• Strong broker relationships and market presence required

• Professional designations such as CPCU or ARM preferred
