Our client is an A+ rated international carrier in search of an experienced Contract Surety Underwriting Specialist to join their highly successful surety division. This role will be hybrid in Charlotte 2-3 days per week.

The Underwriting Specialist will join a high growth team and focus on profitable book as well as new business production. This individual will work with local surety focused agents in the Southeast territory.

You will join a very collaborative environment with fantastic leadership who is more than willing to mentor. Strong career progression and vertical movement potential will be available as well.

Ideal candidates will have contract surety expertise and existing knowledge of the marketplace in the Southeast. Marketing experience and ability to cultivate new relationships is required.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of contract surety underwriting experience required
• Surety agency relationships in the SE required
• BA/BS degree required
