Our client is a start-up MGU in search of an experienced E&O AVP or VP level individual to join and contribute to the buildout of a nationwide footprint. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a ground-up start-up and be one of the first employees.

This individual will focus on building out a book of Allied Healthcare professional liability coverage, as well as work on a suite of additional Professional Liability segments (Miscellaneous, A&E etc,.) . You will have ability to focus on a region where your existing broker network is while also being offered the opportunity to work on a national basis. This is a high level, hands on position with opportunity to grow as the organization continues to build out.

Ideal candidates will have a background in Allied Healthcare (or other professional liability) underwriting. Experience in product development is a plus. Wholesale broker relationships are a must.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional liability underwriting experience required
• Expertise in Allied Healthcare coverage ideal
• Existing wholesale broker relationships required
• Product line development experience is a plus
• B.A/B.S required
